Princeton United Methodist Church is a community of faith rooted in the heart of Princeton, North Carolina, where there is a place for you at the table. We are a people seeking to worship and serve God by loving all, growing deeper in our relationship with Christ and one another, and equipping people to serve throughout our community and the world. Whether through worship, fellowship, our food pantry, or simply walking alongside our neighbors, we believe the church is called to be more than a place we gather on Sunday—it is a people sent out to share the love and grace of Jesus Christ. Meet Pastor Billy
Passionate about sharing God’s grace, building community, and making disciples who make disciples. Pastor Billy Sander serves Westwood United Methodist Church in Goldsboro and Princeton United Methodist Church in Princeton. He began serving the two congregations in July 2025. Pastor Billy was called into ministry in 2017, serving in youth and music ministry before becoming a United Methodist pastor in 2021. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Mount Olive and a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School, where he also completed a certificate in Wesleyan Studies. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry degree at United Theological Seminary. Pastor Billy is passionate about helping people encounter the grace of Jesus Christ, building meaningful relationships within the community, and equipping the church to live out the Great Commandment and Great Commission. He and his wife, Mary, have one son, Jeremiah, and enjoy calling eastern North Carolina home.
